BASK Revision Knee Instructional Course
Mr Santini is attending the BASK Revision Knee Instructional Course today in Birmingham. The meeting is for all regional leads to meet and discuss the best way to progress revision knee surgery over the next few years.
Through a combination of the NHS, GIRFT, BOA and BASK, revision knee surgery in England has been regionalised with the North West region being divided into three sub regions. Mr Santini, along with Mr James Fountain, lead the Cheshire and Mersey area with Mr Santini also being given the honour of leading the regional network of the Major Revision Centre at Liverpool University Hospitals.
