Mr Santini elected President of BASK
The Bone and Joint Centre’s Alasdair Santini is delighted to have been elected as President of The British Association for Surgery of the Knee (BASK) and will take up this two-year tenure in September 2024.
BASK, initiated some 40 plus years ago, hold regular scientific meetings in addition to educational courses and guest lecturers. Links across the World have been developed, most notably with the American Knee Society in 1997 and the Australian Knee Society in 1999.
Mr Santini said, “It is a fabulous honour to be invited to be President for the two years from September following in the footsteps of some amazing surgeons. I hope to see the Society continue to develop and I look forward to my time in post.”
